Poisoning probe after mysterious death of ‘bunga bunga’ model
A murder investigation is underway into the mysterious death of a Moroccan model who regularly attended ex-Italian PM Silvio Berlusconi’s infamous ‘bunga bunga’ parties.
Imane Fadil, 33, was a key witness at the billionaire’s prostitution trial and had been writing a book about the scandal when she died on March 1.
The death of the glamorous TV presenter was kept secret until last Friday amid claims she told friends and family she had been poisoned.
Prosecutors in Milan revealed yesterday that a murder case has been opened.
The city’s chief prosecutor, Francesco Greco, said that ‘the doctors have not identified with any certainty any pathology which can explain the death’, adding that there were ‘several anomalies’ in her medical records.
At the media magnate’s trial for paying for sex with an underage prostitute, Ms Fadil descried how young women, sometimes in pairs and dressed as nuns, would strip off during raunchy pole dances.
