Horrifying moment girl, 13, beaten in unprovoked attack at infamous fight school

This is the horrifying moment a 13-year-old girl was beaten in an unprovoked attack at a school infamous for student fights.

Denali Gonzalez said she does not even know the girl who mercilessly hit her and dragged her to the ground, nor does she know why the student wanted to fight her.

The incident that left Gonzalez with two broken bones in her hand was caught on camera by students who did nothing to stop the violence at Cutler Bay Middle School in Florida on Tuesday.

‘(I said) “why are we fighting again?” And that is when she hit me right here, which is where I have the bruises,’ Gonzalez told Local 10.

The unnamed student is seen punching Gonzalez, who gets dragged to the ground where she is repeatedly punched and kicked.

‘I didn’t even get to hit her back. She just slammed me and hit me and kicked me. I passed out. All I saw was when she hit me and kicked me, and I looked down, and I saw a lot of blood and I passed out right there,’ Gonzalez said.

‘I broke my two knuckles…all of this scratched. My whole back is swollen..scratches on my face,’ the teen said.

Gonzalez’s mother was outraged that the school did not notify her about the assault that left her daughter seriously injured, according to the girl’s aunt, Milanis Gonzalez.

‘The way we feel, we ask ourselves, “What do we do when we drop off our kids at school? Are they safe?” No one ever called my sister-in-law, her grandmother, me or no one,’ Milanis said.

An spokesperson at the Miami-Dade County school district claimed school officials alerted both the parents of the attacker and the victim immediately.

‘The incident was promptly handled by the administration and Miami-Dade Schools Police. As a result, one student was arrested and will receive additional consequences in accordance with our Code of Student Conduct,’ a statement from the school district read.

Cutler Bay Middle School was named as the school with the most fights in the state in the most recent study by the Florida Department of Education, published in 2015.

According to the study, the middle school reported 188 violent fights in the previous school year, more than any other educational institution in Florida.
