Dad arrested over ‘horrific YouTube clip of him abusing screaming toddler’

A father was arrested after he allegedly screamed abuse at a wailing toddler in a chilling audio recording uploaded to YouTube.

Daniel Perez, 33, can be heard yelling ‘Look what you did! Look at the mess you made! Look at this mess! Eat it! Eat it! Eat it!

‘I’m gonna throw you out the fucking window.’

A child can be heard becoming increasingly distressed with each outburst made by Perez, who has since been arrested for threatening and risk of injury.

The sound of what police say appears to be ‘children being physically struck’ can also be heard.

Metro US has decided not to reproduce the extremely disturbing clip, although TV stations including WFSB have shared a partly-censored version of the audio.

It is said to have been live-streamed last Thursday, prompting police to visit Perez and his wife Alessandra Sillo, also 33, at their dilapidated home in Milford, Connecticut, which does not have any running water.

Concerned listeners dialed 911 over fears the children in the clip were being battered.

The couple are parents to a two year-old boy and three year-old boy, who have since been placed in foster care.

A police warrant seen by the Connecticut Post said that when confronted, Perez ‘claimed that “trolls” and “hackers” on the internet would do that because they were jealous of his success.’

He and Sillo are linked to a crowdfunding campaign to develop a Game of Thrones card game.

Perez said he would never strike his child, and said the slapping sounds heard on the clip were him hitting a wall.

When questioned about a burn mark on one child’s arm, Perez claimed the youngster had grazed himself on a cigarette after running past him as he smoked.

He is later said to have admitted that the recording was made in February.

The dad reportedly said he lashed out after one of his sons spilled donuts as he played cards online, while the other angered him after he kept opening and closing a window.

Perez has been charged with four counts of risk of injury to a minor and a single count of second-degree threatening. Sillo faces two counts of risk of injury to a minor.

Perez’s bond was set at $25,000, while Sillo was released on a promise to return to court.

The pair are next due to appear on June 4.
