Maryland officials to GOP in Washington 'enough is enough'
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Democrats in charge of Maryland's legislature are telling President Donald Trump and Republican leaders in Washington that "enough is enough."
They urged them Wednesday to reach a budget agreement to avoid a federal government shutdown.
In a letter Wednesday, House Speaker Michael Busch and Senate President Thomas V. Mike Miller said they were speaking "on behalf of a state that is exhausted from being whipsawed by the inaction in Washington, D.C."
