A MUM-OF-TWO appearing on Old House, New Home was in tears on tonight’s programme, after transforming her two-bed property.
Hannah, from London, had been sleeping in her lounge before the transformation, but after an extension and a huge makeover, the property has been completely overhauled.
Hannah’s front room was her bedroom for nearly a year, but following the transformation, it has returned to a chic and stylish living room.
The bathroom also been made-over into an idyllic sanctuary, with Hannah describing it as like a “hotel, five-star bathroom”.
Before, the kids were in the main room, while the middle bedroom was a “dumping ground” for Hannah’s stuff.
Now the kids are back in the middle room, with beautiful L-shaped bunk beds, perfect for saving space.
And more importantly, Hannah now has her bedroom back.
Jumping on the bed, Hannah can’t stop gushing at her new room, telling George: “I’m over the moon!”
Downstairs, the dining room/lounge was jam packed with a table and chairs, but following the transformation, it’s a cosy and sophisticated snug.
Decorated in a soft, muted pallette, there’s plenty of storage – and Hannah can even see her fireplace, now the clutter has been removed.
The furniture has been replaced, giving the smart space a bright and fresh feel.
Added to that, Hannah’s tiny kitchen has been transformed following an extension, into a huge open plan design, complete with island and dining table.
“I never imagined in my wildest dreams that my house would look like this,” she said
“I feel like crying, I can’t believe this is mine.
“Look at my breakfast bar stools!”
And viewers can’t stop gushing about the epic transformation, with one tweeting: “Loved the kitchen in Hannah house… an amazing transformation… Love the simple panelling idea.”
While another wrote: “Absolutely loving tonight’s episode. Hannah’s cottage is stunning, especially the kitchen!”
