Hogs set to Compete In NCAA Events
Arkansas Swimming and Diving are set to compete in NCAA events. Junior diver Regan Caufield will be competing in platform dive in the NCAA Zone Qualifier in Madison, Wisconsin on Wednesday, March 9. In addition, Seniors Emily Barclay, Kobie Melton, Vanessa Herrmann, Andrea Sansores, and Sophomore Bella Cothern will be competing at the NCAA Swimming Championships from March 17-19 in Atlanta, Georgia.
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas Swimming and Diving are set to compete in NCAA events. Junior diver Regan Caufield will be competing in platform dive in the NCAA Zone Qualifier in Madison, Wisconsin on Wednesday, March 9. In addition, Seniors Emily Barclay, Kobie Melton, Vanessa Herrmann, Andrea Sansores, and Sophomore Bella Cothern will be competing at the NCAA Swimming Championships from March 17-19 in Atlanta, Georgia. Senior Vanessa Herrmann is set to compete in the 100 and 200 Breaststroke. Senior Andrea Sansores will swim in the 100 Backstroke, 100Freestyle, and 50 Freestyle. Senior Kobie also is taking place in the 100 Freestyle, 100 Backstroke, and 50 freestyle, while Senior Emily Barclay will swim in the 50 Freestyle as well as the 100 Freestyle. In addition, Bella Cothern will be participating in the relays.
“We are excited to have 5 of our ladies chosen to compete at the NCAA Championships. This has been their goal since last spring and to have 10 individual events and 4 relays really gives us some great opportunities for success at the highest level,” Coach Harper said.
