A CINEMA’S stolen 2ft model of Star Wars Jedi master Yoda has returned from the Dark Side.
The statue had greeted guests alongside a life-size R2-D2 and Darth Vader for the past six years until it was stolen by a masked raider in high-vis clothes.
Movie Starr owner Shane Parkin said ‘it proves the Force is with us’ after their model of Star Wars’ Yoda was returned[/caption] The thief wore a hi-vis outfit as they stole the 2ft statue of Yoda[/caption]Staff at the Movie Starr cinema in Canvey, Essex, gave chase after the theft on February 4 — but the thief seemed to jump into hyperspace and escape.
But weeks later, The Sun’s story and a viral online appeal have resulted in the Yoda figure being dumped back on the cinema’s doorstep with no further explanation.
Movie Starr owner Shane Parkin said: “It proves the Force is with us.
“Somebody has decided to do the right thing.
“Our customers are so happy we have him back and he’ll be back on display very soon.”
