Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: How to Unlock Multiclassing
Tiny Tina's Wonderlands allows players to select two classes after multiclassing is unlocked. This grants access to both classes' Skills and Feats.
In Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, one of the features that players can unlock is multiclassing, a completely new mechanic that separates the spin-off from the rest of the Borderlands series. Creating a multiclass allows players to select an additional class from the remaining five options at the beginning of the game, giving Fatemakers two sets of skills to choose from as they put an end to the Dragon Lord's nefarious plot. This allows for some interesting playstyles in the Wonderlands as Fatemakers mix and match their skills from one class to another.
When players select a second class, their Fatemaker gains the ability to use the Feats of both classes in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands at the same time. For example, those who chose to create a Spore Warden and Clawbringer class can have both the Wyvern and Mushroom companion active at the same time. Additionally, the Spore Warden's Blizzard Action Skill will grant characters with the Rage of the Ancients class Feat if the second class is the Brr-Zerker. Rage of the Ancients causes the Fatemaker to become enraged, allowing them to inflict additional Frost Damage that enhances the Frost Cyclones of the Spore Warden's Blizzard.
After multiclassing is unlocked, players will then have to decide what skill will receive an upgrade between the two classes every time they level up in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. The Hero Stats apply to the Fatemaker overall, however, instead of just a single class at a time. Additionally, players won't be able to choose a second background for their second class, as that feature is tied into the character as well.
To unlock the ability to multiclass in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, players will need to progress through the main story far enough to complete the Emotion of the Motion mission. This mission is roughly halfway through the main story, but once it has been completed players will automatically gain the ability to select a second class for their Fatemaker. After selecting the second class, players will gain access to that class's first Action Skill, and the second will unlock at level 18.
Those searching for the best multiclass options in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands can experiment a bit once they reach the end of the game. The second class decision is a permanent one until players reach the end of the game, and then Fatemakers can respec which class they wish to pair with their first. This also allows players to prepare for endgame content, creating the best character possible in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.
Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is available now on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC via the Epic Games Store.
