NASCAR drivers with the top-16 odds to win the 2023 Daytona 500
Who's going to win the 2023 Daytona 500?
The biggest race of the year kicks off the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season Sunday with the Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway — the iconic 2.5-mile track famous for intense racing and massive wrecks, known as “The Big One.”
Winning the Daytona 500 is, of course, about speed, talent and racing strategy. That’s a given. But it takes so much more than that to be the first driver in a field of 40 to cross the finish line.
Ask drivers, and they’ll likely tell you they also need to be a master of drafting, teamwork and trusting their instincts, along with a little bit of luck to ensure they’re not collateral damage in someone else’s wreck. The fastest car in practice or qualifying could easily get taken out of the race with bad luck.
Even though the Daytona 500 can be so unpredictable, we’ve still got odds for who could end up in Victory Lane. So here’s a look at the 16 drivers with the best odds to win the season opener at Daytona.
