I’m a Hooters girl – I make $1,543 just in tips a week, people say they’re ‘applying now’
A HOOTERS girl has revealed the amount of money she took home in tips after a week of working at the restaurant.
She shared her daily earnings in a TikTok video that has people online saying they’re “applying now.”
Content creator Reagan (@reaganfordd) works as a server and bartender at her local Hooters establishment.
Sometimes, she’ll give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at what she does to pass the time at her job.
In one of her TikTok video diaries, she documented what she made in tips during a single workweek.
The content creator only works Monday through Thursday but was able to rack up a decent amount of money after four days.
When the video began, Reagan stood in front of the camera and was visible from the chest up, wearing the signature white long-sleeve shirt from the fast-casual dining brand and her nametag.
She was working a Monday night shift and counted her cash tips in front of the camera.
“I had some really good people and got some really good tips tonight, so $488 for a Monday,” she said.
The video then jumped to the end of her Tuesday morning bartending shift, where she now wore the statement black long-sleeve tank.
“For a Tuesday morning bar shift, I made $322,” she declared after counting her cash.
Then, the clip moved to the completion of the beauty’s Wednesday morning bar shift, where she once again wore the black shirt.
“For a Wednesday morning bar shift, I made $355 this morning,” she shared in the video.
On her last shift of the week, Reagan filmed it around 1 a.m. after her Thursday evening serving shift.
She chose to count most of those bills off-camera but ended her night with a total of $378.
Her grand total for the approximate 25-hour workweek came up to $1,543.
After doing some math, she claimed she made about $64 an hour.
“I do want to preface that not every week looks like that as a server,” she said as the video came to a close.
The amount struck a chord with many people with some saying that they now want to work for the company.
“THAT’S IT. I’M APPLYING,” one viewer commented.
“If I had the body, I would definitely apply,” a TikTok user wrote.
“Yess get that bag,” a fan praised.
