NATIONAL SUMMARY
Tomorrow, a zone of severe thunderstorms is expected for
parts of the northern Plains, also expanding into parts of
south-central Canada, and storms may bring hail and damaging
wind gusts for mainly eastern parts of the Dakotas. Spotty
thunderstorms cloud also develop in eastern portions of the
Plains and into much of southern and eastern Texas.
Afternoon thunderstorms are also expected through parts of
the Intermountain West, even stretching into mainly the
high terrain of Northern California and along the Sierra
Nevada. A slow-moving storm system will continue to bring
areas of showers and steadier rain to much of the
mid-Atlantic. Most others will be dry, but dangerous rip
currents will be possible at some Northeast beaches from
New Jersey to Cape Cod.
