I’m your thrifting bestie & struck gold in a charity shop – I nabbed a £200 designer dress for 20p… I was stunned
A BARGAIN-HUNTING shopper has shared one of her latest charity shop finds – a posh designer frock that cost her a mere 20p.
Just like most of us, fashion fan Francesca loves a good deal – and it seems it will be close to impossible to beat her latest cheap buy.
Francesca, who works as a nurse, regularly visits second-hand shops, often sharing the top finds on her TikTok page.
However, one of her latest visits to a charity store ended up with striking gold, as she managed to get her hands on a designer dress.
According to Francesca, this was one of her ”best” buys so far, making huge savings of more than a whopping £199.
The frock in question was a posh dress by the high-end brand Burberry – which typically retails for an eye-watering £200.
But the lucky customer, who has more than 61k fans on the platform, nabbed it for just 20p.
Chuffed with the incredible deal, which she had found in a store in Rawtenstall, Lancashire, Francesca posted the cheap buy on TikTok.
”Couldn’t believe what I came across,” the mum wrote in the comments.
The clip, uploaded less than 24 hours ago, has already taken the internet by storm, racking up more than 36k views.
Fellow bargain hunters were just as amazed with the 20p dress, with one writing: ”Great find Thrifty sis.”
Another agreed, adding: ”fabulous.”

It’s not the first time the savvy mum has managed to find some hidden gems – she recently took her family to a £1 store and bagged heaps of bargains.
The successful shopping haul ended with her hubby finding a vintage Burnley football shirt – and safe to say, he was delighted with the find.
The husband also got Nike trainers for £1 that one follower claimed were worth a whopping £280.
The husband was also amused to find a hula hoop and random trophy in the discount shop.
Whilst browsing in the store, the duo also found a pair of men’s trainers for just £2, and Francesca said she’d clean them at home.
According to the lucky customer, the real retail price is an eye-watering £200[/caption]
