BBC Breakfast in huge shake up as regular presenter is missing from show
BBC BREAKFAST today had a huge shake up, with a regular presenter missing from the show.
Usually on a Saturday morning, viewers are greeted with Naga Munchetty, 48, and Charlie Stayt, 61.
The pair always co-host BBC Breakfast together from Thursday to Sunday.
However, fans tuning in this morning got a surprise when Naga was missing from the famous red sofa.
Instead stand-in host Sarah Campbell, 50, was co-hosting alongside Charlie.
Although it’s not known why Naga is missing from the show today, she was spotted last night looking glam, as she enjoyed an evening out in London.
The popular presenter ditched her usually conservative BBC Breakfast look and opted for a sexy dress that was slashed at the front, and also split at the thigh.
Naga cut a glamorous figure as she attended the An Audience with Kylie event at the Royal Albert Hall.
She was all smiles as she posed on the red carpet at the star-studded event.
Naga then watched pop star Kylie Minogue, 55, took to the stage at the famous concert hall for the biggest Audience With… to date, which is set to air on ITV.
The broadcaster was part of a selected VIP audience, who watched her perform her greatest hits as well as songs from her eagerly anticipated album Tension.
Meanwhile, yesterday Naga and co-host Charlie were accused by fans of “picking an argument” with a guest in a ‘really uncomfortable’ interview.
On Friday’s programme, the two journalists covered a range of topics and at one point, welcomed Shadow Business and Trade Secretary Jonathan Reynolds.
But fans at home found their interview with him “hostile”, and took to X/Twitter to vent.
One said: “Why were Charlie and Naga so hostile to the idea of banking hubs I wonder?”
Another added: “Trying to pick an argument and undermine anybody is very different to challenging and insightful interviewing. Charlie Stayt #bbcbreakfast.”
