Surprising Premier League club revealed to have sexiest fans – where does your team rank?
THE hottest fans in the Premier League are at Luton Town.
Researchers who quizzed 2,000 match regulars found a table-topping 12 per cent picked the minnows nicknamed The Hatters.
Famous fans include singer Cerys Matthews — plus TV’s Nick Owen.
Bottom of the league came Sheffield United, just like in real life.
Only one per cent found their fans sexiest.
Famous supporters of The Blades include actor Sean Bean, Def Leppard icon Joe Elliott, and Olympic gold winner Jessica Ennis-Hill.
The Blades were just below Burnley, West Ham and Newcastle, Aston Villa on two per cent.
Luton Town fan Richard Planter, 45, said: “Well, it’s official – we’re the sexist fans in England.
“Tell me something I didn’t know!”
Sheffield United supporter Gill Hadlow, 31, said: “It’s fair to say there are a lot of glum faces around Bramall Lane, but that’s because we are bottom of the league.
“If we start climbing the league, you’ll see a happier bunch – and that always makes people more attractive, at least I hope it does.”
