Texas sports anchor incredibly predicted the exact score of the Chiefs’ Super Bowl win 2 days before the game
This anchor had the Super Bowl script.
One of the best bets you can nail on the Super Bowl — or any game for that matter — is an exact score bet. Unfortunately for people in Lubbock, Texas, betting in the Lone Star State isn’t legal, because they were tipped off to the exact score two days before the rest of us.
During a broadcast by KLBK — the CBS affiliate in Lubbock — sports anchor Stan Smith was asked his prediction for the big game. He incredibly picked the Kansas City Chiefs to beat the San Francisco 49ers by a score of 25-22, which is exactly what happened two days later. He even admitted how unusual of a score it was.
Friday night, @_mattstell asked me to predict the score of the Super Bowl. Without really thinking, I said 25-22 Kansas City, admitting it was unusual.

Had people been able to tail Smith’s pick, they would have undoubtedly won big. The odds on exact score bets are so incredibly long because of how hard it is to predict the exact amount of points each team will score.
We might need to Smith to post picks where the rest of us can follow.
