Portland spots to host egg hunts, bunny photo-ops and more through Easter weekend
Bella Organic Farm will host an adult Easter egg hunt.
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Train rides, egg hunts and sightseeing cruises are in store for Portlanders this Easter.
Check out the following events to plan your holiday weekend.
Easter Candy & Wine Pairing
When: Friday, March 29, 12 p.m. – 6 p.m., and Saturday, March 30 from 12 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Where: Hip Chicks Do Wine, 4510 SE 23rd Ave, Portland, OR 97202
The Rose City’s “oldest urban winery” will pair wine with Easter candy favorites such as Peeps, Jelly beans and chocolate bunnies. Hip Chicks Do Wine will also offer customers to grab a mystery egg that could contain special drink discounts.
Hop Into Spring at Oregon Zoo
When: Saturday, March 30, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Oregon Zoo, 4001 SW Canyon Rd, Portland, OR 97221
The Oregon Zoo’s spring celebration will feature magic shows, outdoor lawn games and animal activities. This event is catered toward children under 10, and is included with the price of general admission to the zoo.
Photos with the Easter Bunny
When: Saturday, March 30, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: Washington Square, 9585 SW Washington Square Rd, Portland, OR 97223
Saturday is the last day that kids — and adults — can snag a picture with the Easter Bunny at Washington Square. The mall encourages reservations, and only a few slots remain for the final holiday photo-ops.
Easter Bunny Express
When: Saturday, March 30 at 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Where: Oregon Rail Heritage Center, 2250 SE Water Ave, Portland, OR 97214.
The Easter Bunny will join the Oregon Rail Heritage Center in hosting a 45-minute train ride along the Springwater Corridor. Tickets cost $20 for adults, and $15 for children between 3 and 12 years old.
Bella's Bunny Hop! Annual Easter Egg Hunt 2024
When: Saturday, March 30 through Sunday, March 31 at various times
Where: Bella Organic Farm, 16205 NW Gillihan Rd, Portland, OR 97231
Bella Organic is a hot spot for its pumpkin patch and corn maze during the fall, but the spring ushers in more family-friendly fun. The farm will hold 17 Easter egg hunts for people in different age groups. Admission ranges from $10 to $20.
Easter Sunday Cruise
When: Sunday, March 31 at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Where: Portland Spirit, 1010 SW Naito Pkwy, Portland, OR 97204
This two-hour cruise along Willamette River will include a brunch buffet with Mediterranean salad, home-fried potatoes, mini desserts and more. Tickets for the Portland Spirit event start at $208.
