I’m 26 and my wife’s 63 – we’re desperate to have a baby that’s biologically ours, but people tell us to give up & adopt
AN AGE gap couple who are desperate to have a baby together have been urged to give up their dream and adopt instead.
Quran is 26, while his wife is 63, and despite their 37-year age difference, they fell in love when he started working at Cheryl’s son’s restaurant.
Their relationship has always caused controversy, but they hit headlines once again when they revealed their plans to have their own family.
Due to Cheryl’s age, she’s unable to carry her own child, so the pair tried to find a surrogate to have their baby.
And despite thinking that they’d found the perfect candidate – spending £7,000 to try and make their dream a reality – she later pulled out, leaving the pair devastated.

The couple bounced back from the disappointment though, and vowed they were “never giving up on something we both want which is a love child”.
“If y’all want a baby, adoption would be ok,” one person commented on a previous TikTok video.
But the pair insisted they aren’t willing to accept the possibility that they’ll never have a biological child of their own.
In another clip, they responded to the person’s remark by lip-syncing along to someone saying “F**k no!”
“After we have 2 by our surrogate first we could of been done that,” Quran added in the caption.
“We doing things our way!”
“If y’all tried so many times then just give up, it ain’t gonna happen!” one person commented on that video.
“Then I guess no baby!” another added.
“What’s wrong with adopting?” a third asked.
“You’re giving a child a home!”
“Umm as an adopted person idk how to feel,” someone else admitted.
While others questioned how Cheryl and Quran are even going to use a surrogate, if she doesn’t have any eggs.
Surrogacy uses the eggs of the intended mother, and fertilises them with sperm of the intended father.
However, as the average age to go through the menopause in the US, where Quran and Cheryl are based, is 52.
“I think that’s your only option,” someone else said of adoption.
“She way past menopause!”
“But all the eggs are GONE,” another added.
“I think her eggs are expired like I think she already had menopause,” a third commented.
“They aren’t mentally ready to raise a baby together!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!” someone else wrote.
As another added: “She’s literally in the menopause.
“It’s impossible for her to have a baby.”
