Photographer: Fabio A. SpinaSummary Author: Fabio A. SpinaShown above is curious combination of stratus and cumulus clouds, recorded in the region of Paracatu, Minas Gerais from the window of a commercial plane on the Brasília - Rio de Janeiro route. Clouds seemingly emerge from the ground in a Brazilian region known for exploiting pivot-irrigated agriculture, identified in the photo by the circular regions. The cumulus congestus clouds at top appear to form a being of some sort that pierces the stratus layer, caricaturing human curiosity of wanting to know what's above the clouds. Photo taken on March 2, 2024.
