Meghan Markle’s reality star pal called Kate Middleton ‘shady’ for missing Princess Lilibet’s birthday
A REALITY TV star who is pals with Meghan Markle has called Kate Middleton “shady” for missing Princess Lilibet’s birthday.
Garcelle Beauvais, who stars on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, has been the latest star to have received a package of Meghan’s new jam.
Other stars who are recipients of Meghan’s American Riviera Orchard condiment are Chrissy Teigen, Heather Dorak, Tracy Robbins and Kris Jenner.
Garcelle, who lives an 80-minute drive from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, previously opened up about her views on the Prince and Princess of Wales.
In June 2022, Garcelle said to E!’s Daily Pop talk show that it was “shady” for Kate and William to skip Lilibet’s first birthday, which was held at Frogmore Cottage in 2022.
The reason they had been absent is the future King and Queen had been undertaking royal duties 100 miles away during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Prince William and Kate were in Wales representing the late monarch by overseeing concert rehearsals at Cardiff Castle, and they were joined by Prince George and Princess Charlotte as they undertook their first official royal walkabout.
The Jubilee concert took place later that evening.
However, Garcelle, 57, said at the time: “What’s going on is, ‘What a coincidence, we’re out of town, I’m washing my hair’.
“Anything to see them.
“There’s a little shade there, come on now?”
The host asked: “You don’t think it’s coincidental?” to which Gracelle firmly replied: “No. They can’t hold back the flight a couple of hours to meet Lilibet and Archie?”
Meghan and Prince Harry’s daughter had met with her great-grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth as she celebrated her birthday.
Garcelle’s friendship with Meghan
Garcelle has proven she is part of Meghan and Harry’s inner circle as she posted her jar number 15 of the royals’ American Riviera Orchard Jam.
As with the other celebrity jam hampers, Garcelle’s jar came resting on some fresh lemons.
THe RHOBH star uploaded a photo of the jar with the caption “Sweetness” and tagged Meghan’s new lifestyle brand.

The Duchess of Sussex previously admitted her love for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills to executive producer Andy Cohen on her podcast Archetypes.
She also joked about how she wasn’t booked to go on his show, Watch What Happens Live, when she was an up and coming actress.
She said: “I was so eager to be on your show because I was such a Housewives fan at the time, and I just couldn’t get booked, Andy.”
He replied that not booking her was “the biggest blunder in the 13 years of the show.”
Garcelle was pictured with Meghan last November as they attended Variety’s Power of Women gala.

Garcelle uploaded a selfie and wrote: “I took a picture with Meghan Markle, so I can die now.”
Meghan announced she is launching American Riviera Orchard in March, and teased it on Instagram.
It is said the A-list area of California where Meghan and Harry live, Montecito, is known as the “American Riviera”, which is thought to be the inspiration behind the name.
Meghan’s products
According to a report from Page Six, Meghan’s company will focus on home, garden, food, and general lifestyle content.
The brand will reportedly sell home goods, such as cookbooks, food and kitchenware.
One source said: “She’s been working on this for over a year and it’s all the things that are close to her heart — all the things she’s passionate about.”
A trademark application for ‘American Riviera Orchard’ showed Meghan could sell cutlery, decanters, legume-based spreads and even napkin rings.
This follows Meghan, 42, closing her former lifestyle page, The Tig, in April 2017, shortly after she started dating Prince Harry.

Meghan Markle has launched a new Instagram brand called American Riviera Orchard.
Industry insiders said the site will focus on home, food, garden and lifestyle goods.
A source told the Mail: “It’s a lifestyle and cooking brand called American Riviera Orchard.
“The brand is meant to coincide with the launch of a new cookery show for Netflix.
“Meghan will be making, and selling, products such as jams. And at some point there will be a book and blog etc.”
New Sussex shows
We recently shared how the Duchess of Sussex is set to launch a new series on “cooking, gardening and friendship”.
She and Harry have two untitled non-fiction projects in production.
The shows form part of the “creative partnership” Archewell Productions signed with the streaming giant in 2020.
The first series will focus on Meghan and explore “the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship”, according to Deadline.
The second series will follow the couple’s love of professional polo.
Primarily shot at the US Open Polo Championship in Wellington, Florida, the project will be produced by Boardwalk Pictures.
Prince Harry, 39, is known as a keen polo player.
The couple launched their documentary Harry and Meghan in 2022, offering an insight into their relationship.
