Michelle Heaton reveals her ripped body transformation as she strips to a bikini in the sunshine
MICHELLE Heaton has given fans a glimpse of her body transformation while relaxing in a bikini.
The singer, 44, stripped down to a pink two-piece before heading into her garden to lap up the warm weather.
Michelle puckered up and snapped a full-length selfie while kicking back on a comfy sun-lounger.
Posting the shot on her Instagram Stories, she used a sunshine emoji and wrote: “Happy Friday!”
Michelle also took a picture of her toned, bronzed legs while also giving fans a thumbs up.
In the past three years, Michelle has been working hard on her health and fitness.
The Liberty X singer celebrated three years of being sober last month after kicking a drug and alcohol addiction that almost cost her her life.
At her worst, Michelle was drinking two litre bottles of vodka a day.
As part of her recovery, Michelle has focused on getting in shape and frequently shares inspirational videos of herself working out with her hubby Hugh.
She has lost two stone since 2021, but sadly, her body transformation has seen her fall victim to mean trolls.
Earlier this year, the mum-of-two revealed that she receives lots of hurtful messages accusing her of being ‘too thin’.
She explained that when people make fun of her for being too skinny, she feels the same way she did when comments were made about her being ‘fat’ during Liberty X’s heyday in the noughties.
Michelle, who even developed an eating disorder when she was younger due to cruel jibes, said: “Yes, I train hard, I absolutely love it! It’s part of who I am now… and yes, I eat.. allot of great food and have a balanced diet!
“When I got sober almost 3 years ago I lost the bloat alcohol gave me.
“The point is, whilst I don’t reply to these people, these words can hurt just as much as being called fat.
“This may not be YOUR ideal of what Being healthy looks like…. But it’s MINE.”
These days, Michelle has learned to ignore the critics and embrace her body – imperfections and all.
The star opened up to The Sun last month about the saggy skin she has on her stomach.
Years of yo-yo dieting, two C-sections, a hysterectomy and the effects of an early menopause had all contributed to the issue. At one point, Michelle even considered going under the knife to fix it.
But she told Fabulous: “The only way to get rid of saggy skin is to cut it off. And I did think about it.
“But I can’t make my body go through that after I have already had to do so much health-wise. Having loose skin is natural. I don’t have the ‘perfect’ body, but I’m really happy in it.”
