Lisa Snowdon, 52, looks incredible as she strips to sheer lingerie as she reveals five year weight loss struggle
LISA Snowdon looked incredible as she struck a sultry pose in lingerie.
Presenter and model Lisa, 52, put on a busty display in a sheer bra while snapping a selfie as she told fans about her weight loss.
She accessorised with a beaded bracelet and tusselled hair for the Instagram post.
She captioned it: “Doing it for the girls!”
The model said she debated whether to share her photo because she worried it would “cause a strong reaction”.
She added in a video on her Instagram Story: “It causes such a strong reaction in some people. It’s funny how many followers I lose.
“You know I’ve really tried to get the weight off these last few years. Well, longer than that, four or five years.
“And I’m so proud of all the work that I’ve done and my willpower.”
Lisa said she had ditched alcohol in her bid to cut calories.
She added: “Not drinking all the time. It’s really helped me.
“But it’s weird how many followers I lose when I post something like that, for us ladies as inspiration and also because I am proud.
“And I shouldn’t feel bad about that.”
Despite her fears, Lisa received tons of praise underneath her original post.
She said: “You are one of many role models for me. We are the same age and lucky to have some kick ass women like Tamsin Outhwaite, Davina, Tess and Claudia, Denise etc etc all going through perimenopause and still fabulous.
“Which really isn’t easy when you don’t feel like yourself. Exercise and self care is so key and you look incredible.”
Another said: “You look amazing in both pictures photos.”
Lisa has been engaged since 2017 to her “soulmate” George.
She spoke last year about the various reasons the couple have delayed their wedding.
She said: “It’s so strange, it feels like yesterday and feels like we’ve been together forever.
“It’s such a nice feeling, like we’re so content. And I think some people are baffled, like, ‘seven years, how comes you’ve never got married?’
“And some people are like, ‘don’t bother, you don’t need to’, so we’re just kind of in that mindset of we’re so happy, if it ain’t broke kind of thing, it doesn’t need fixing.”
She went on: “I sometimes think I’d like a party and then I sometimes think actually I can’t be bothered with all that. So we kind of flip flop between, ‘let’s do it’ and then, ‘let’s get somebody else to organise it all’ and ‘let’s do it ourselves, let’s keep it lowkey, let’s have a big party, a three-day italian wedding’ and then we go, ‘lets put the money into doing some more floors at home’.
“It’s things like that because it can be expensive, but we’re very happy together.”
