I’m a celebrity esthetician and your eyebrows might be aging you – a few tweaks will make you look much younger

A SKINCARE guru to the stars has revealed what brow beauty mistakes may be causing you to look older.

She shared a few tips to reverse age you and look better than ever.

Celebrity esthetician and Beaux Medspa founder Kristin Gunn is no stranger to skincare with an extensive client list from Austin, Texas to beyond.

Previously, she revealed an important step not not to skip in your beauty routine with The U.S. Sun.

Now, she is debunking a few skincare myths and offering makeup advice.

MAJOR MISCONCEPTION

In her profession, Gunn gets asked often about which products to us.

One of the questions she hears the most is whether acne-prone skin should use a moisturizer.

“The answer is absolutely,” she said.

But it’s not that easy, she admitted.

“The trick is finding one that doesn’t aggravate your skin. You always apply it after cleansing,” she added.

Gunn personally loves the La Roche Effaclar MAT Oil-Free Mattifying Moisturizer because it “moisturizes skin while controlling excess oil and refines the appearance of large pores.”

“This has been great for my acne patients,” she said.

Another misconception is that people think they can achieve “perfect skin” with products only, and there’s much more to it.

“This may work if you are genetically gifted, but most folks should be doing some sort of laser or SkinPen microneedling after the age of 30,” she explained.

“Microneedling is also a great option with low downtime for skin maintenance,” she said.

Gunn also shared a few makeup tricks to look younger and also advised against some beauty trends that may have the opposite effect

“Brows are important. As we age, our brows get thinner and lighter,” she said.

She recommended penciling them in so they will frame your eyes beautifully and make you look much younger.

“If you’re over 40, stop the matte makeup,” added.

She said our skin gets drier with age, in general, which means more wrinkles, creases, and cracks.

Lastly, she said to curl your lashes every morning before mascara.
