She went on to note that she knew the Bachelor producers would “use somebody from the past” franchise, but she still “kind of put it out there.”
While producers passed on having Shannon star on The Golden Bachelorette, it did give Bravo producer Andy Cohen an idea for another show.
“Andy called me and said, ‘We have an interesting idea,’” Shannon recalled, adding that Andy, 56, and the Bravo team then asked her to join The Love Hotel.
Back in July, Peacock announced the upcoming dating show starring Shannon and fellow single Housewives stars Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby and Luann de Lesseps as they look for love. The show was filmed in September in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
“I kind of am a golden bachelorette on The Love Hotel,” Shannon said. “I was the oldest.”
She went on to tease that the show is “really good,” adding that viewers will get a “story” in each episode since the ladies are “single for a reason” and have “triggers.”
As of right now, Peacock has not announced a premiere date for The Love Hotel.
