Man Arrested After Slashing Subway Rider’s Neck in NYC During Ongoing Wave of Subway Violence
A man was arrested early Monday morning after he slashed a subway rider in the neck on New York’s C Train.
The incident reportedly occurred at approximately 1:30 am as the train was headed north through Midtown.
The victim exited the subway at 50th Street and was taken to the hospital. The suspect remained on the train until the next stop at 59th Street-Colombus Circle Station, where he was apparently arrested with charges pending.
It is unclear what motivated the slashing.

This comes after another man was arrested in New York City after slashing two individuals with a knife at the Grand Central subway terminal on Christmas Eve.
One of the victims who was slashed last week, a 26-year-old woman, said that police were nowhere to be found when she was punched in the head and then attacked with a knife. “No one called 911. No one in Grand Central called 911. It was my neighbor,” she said. “I was on the phone with my neighbor when it happened, and she called 911.”
Additionally, on Friday last week, another man, 56, was set on fire at New York Penn Station.
All of these incidents come after the viral video of an illegal immigrant watching a woman burn after setting her on fire on a New York City subway train. As the woman burned to death, no bystanders did anything to help but instead watched and filmed the incident. Adding to the outrage, a transit police officer is seen walking past the burning woman, appearing to speak on his radio but continuing down the platform without rendering immediate assistance or attempting to apprehend the perpetrator.
The Guatemalan illegal, Sebastian Zapeta, crossed into the US in Arizona on June 1, 2018, and was deported a few days later on June 7, 2018, The Gateway Pundit reported.
