MANILA, Philippines – Heads up, travelers, especially those who already have flights booked with AirSWIFT Airlines: Starting March 24, all AirSWIFT flights may only be booked and managed through Cebu Pacific’s online system.

“For your convenience, a single website and mobile app will be used for you to book a new flight and manage your bookings,” Cebu Pacific said in a website post.

AirSWIFT’s system will be unavailable in the days leading up to March 24 as it is being integrated into Cebu Pacific:

• March 21: AirSWIFT’s online check-in portal will be unavailable at 6 pm, Philippine time. Those with flights on March 23 and 24 may check in on the day of their departure if they are not able to check in before AirSWIFT’s portal goes dark.
• March 23: AirSWIFT’s website will only be available until 6 pm.
• March 24: Flight bookings and check-ins may only be managed at the airport. By 12 pm, all AirSWIFT flights may be booked and managed via Cebu Pacific’s website.
• March 25: Those with flights booked on Tuesday, March 25, will receive a new itinerary receipt and a new booking reference number from Cebu Pacific through email. Passengers must use their new booking reference details to manage their flights.

Cebu Pacific recommends that passengers complete needed transactions on the AirSWIFT website by Monday, March 23, before the website becomes unavailable. The budget airline clarified that passengers will not be charged extra because of this transition.

The AirSWIFT migration to Cebu Pacific’s system has no effect on its actual flight services and schedules.

The website integration comes months after the Gokongwei’s budget airline acquired AirSWIFT Transport Incorporated from the Zobel de Ayalas for P1.75 billion.

AirSWIFT is a boutique airline that offers direct flights connecting Lio Airport in El Nido to Manila, Cebu, Boracay, and Bohol. It serves resorts managed by Ayala Land.

Cebu Pacific said the acquisition expands its network by integrating AirSWIFT, allowing passengers to have more travel options.

In a stock exchange disclosure in December, Cebu Pacific clarified that it had no plans to change AirSWIFT branding in “the near future.”
