Amy Hart hits back as she reveals Curtis Pritchard fans wanted her SACKED from job on Love Island
AMY Hart has hit back at trolls who wanted her sacked from a Love Island presenting job.
Fans of her ex-boyfriend Curtis Pritchard were unhappy that Amy had landed a role on the official Love Island: All Stars podcast.
But she ignored the backlash and proved to be a professional presence behind the mic even when she came face to face with Curtis after his exit from the villa.
Amy exclusively told The Sun: “Everyone was obsessed from the start about how awkward it was going to be for me to talk about Curtis.
“Asking ‘what happens if we come face to face’ and I had to interview him?
“But unfortunately for everyone, we get on quite well.
“He said in his pre-villa interviews ‘oh I’m really looking forward to seeing Amy when she interviews me for the podcast’.
“He was my easiest interview because I know him so well, I know how hard I can push him, I know how hard I can wind him up.
“Everyone wants us to not like each other. The fact we do get on really well makes it so easy.”
Curtis was more than happy to see his former flame thriving and his sweet gesture to her ahead of the final showed just how far they’d both come since their teary split in the villa.
Amy said: “Just before the final, when I was about to go live on TikTok to 700,000 people, Curtis came over to me and gave me a massive big cuddle and said ‘I’m so excited for you to do this, you’re going to absolutely smash it, you were born to do this’.
“The fact that people were saying I shouldn’t be doing the podcast because i shouldn’t be commenting on him and stuff.
“We don’t have the problem. Everyone else has the podcast.”
Amy is now in a happy relationship with husband Sam Rason and they have son Stanley, two.
The 31-year-old is a mumfluencer on social media and has launched a new podcast, Amy Hart‘s Mum’s Club.
Discussing the motivation behind it, she said: “I wanted to meet lots of different celebrity influencer mums and delve into their highs and lives of being parents and just maybe pick up some tips along the way.
“I’ve also got my mum on the first episode. I think a lot of people would say, ‘oh no, you’ve got to go with that biggest guest first’. We thought what better way to launch the podcast and also its Mother’s Day this weekend as well.
“I learned a lot about how she felt about Love Island when I was in the villa.
“Obviously I didn’t see her at that time because I was in the villa and she was at home and how she dealt with that.
“I think it would be really interesting for people who maybe want to go on Love Island in the future to see how maybe their parents might find it.”
