James Bond Villain's Death Announced by Actor Son
Bruce Glover, who starred as the villain Mr. Wint in the James Bond film Diamonds Are Forever, is dead at 92.
Glover was the father of Hollywood actor Crispin Glover. No cause of death has been announced, according to TMZ, which confirmed Glover's death through Crispin's representative.
Crispin also confirmed his dad's death on his Instagram page, where he shared a throwback photo on March 29, 2025. "Bruce Herbert Glover May 2, 1932 - March 12, 2025," he wrote with the photo
.Fans wished Crispin and his dad well. "Was just thinking about your dad in one of the James Bond movies. May he rest in peace ????️❤️," wrote one person on his Instagram comment thread.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mr. Wint was the "assassin with the distinctive aftershave who partnered with Putter Smith’s Mr. Kidd." That Bond film featured Sean Connery in the lead.
"So sorry for your loss, Crispin. I know it’s never enough, but how wonderful to have him in your life for as long as you did," another person wrote.
Crispin Glover is the son of Bruce and Elizabeth "Betty" Krachey, described by TMZ as an actress and dancer who died in 2016.
According to his IMDb profile, Bruce Glover also had a role in the movie classic Chinatown. He also had roles on well-known television series like Perry Mason and T.J. Hooker.
