LeBron James' Wife Makes Announcement on Friday

On Friday night LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers were busy taking down the New Orleans Pelicans to move to 47-30 on the season.

James dropped 27 points as the Lakers cruised to a 124-108 victory over the Pelicans while taking over the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference from the Denver Nuggets. With just five regular season games left to play, the Lakers are riding a hot streak, winning three of their last four games.

LeBron wasn't the only member of the family making an impact on April 4, though. His wife, Savannah James continues to make an impact on the greater Los Angeles community with a new initiative.

Her longtime friend and business partner April McDaniel took to Instagram to announce a new initiative between their company Let It Break and McDaniel's creative agency Crown + Conquer.

"Let It Break and Crown + Conquer will be hosting a Fire Relief Initiative and community gathering event aimed to educate and support those who have been directly impacted by the SoCal fires in the Altadena area," a statement from the new initiative titled United in Action read.

"Our priority is to provide essential resources and impactful tools to support the journey of rebuilding including, financial literacy workshops hosted by Chase, access to free products and services through Habitat for Humanity, expert guidance for insurance and FEMA roadblocks, mental health support and resources, monetary donations for participating families."

James reshared the message from McDaniel that included a caption:  "Even after the dust has settled, we are still here for our community. Thank you to all for coming together."

James and McDaniel co-founded Let It Break in June 2024.

"We’re creating a movement that empowers women to overcome limiting beliefs and reach their fullest potential by fostering deep self-awareness, engaging in meaningful conversations, providing education, and encouraging purposeful work," the company's mission statement reads.

"Within this framework, we offer programming, tools, and resources —shaped by our content and gatherings— that not only elevate experts but also nurtures each of us to
expand beyond expectations."
