Fans Are Freaking Out Over Tobey Maguire’s Lookalike Teen Son Towering Over Him in Rare Photo

Tobey Maguire may be an A-lister, but he keeps his personal life private, including when it comes to his son Otis. On April 8, Maguire, his son Otis, and his daughter Ruby were out and about during a family outing in Los Angeles, Calif. While we don’t know what the family was doing, we do know they were all dressed rather casually, and fans instantly noticed how tall Otis already is.

In the photos obtained by DailyMail, we can see, once again, how tall the 15-year-old is. Per ScreenRant, Maguire is 5’8″ (and his mama Jennifer Meyer is 5’4.”) Fans even commented on the post, saying, “There is something in food & drink these days. Teenagers are gigantic!”

Compared to his older sister, Ruby, Otis is much more private. In fact, the last time we saw him was back in Dec 2024 when he was out with his mom Meyer and her fiance Geoffrey Ogunlesi. Not only did people see how tall he was getting then, but in the photos obtained by DailyMail, we saw the adorable mother-son duo twinning in oversized sweatshirts. How precious!

For those who don’t know, Maguire and Meyers met back in 2003 through mutual friends. Three years later, they got engaged, and married in 2007. However, in 2016, they announced their separation and their divorce was finalized by 2020. While they have remained close through the years, they have both moved on, with Meyers getting engaged to Ogunlesi and Maguire allegedly dating Babette Strijbos.

During their marriage, they welcomed two children: a daughter named Ruby Sweetheart, born in Nov 2006, and a son named Otis Tobias, born in May 2009.

Maguire hasn’t spoken much about being a dad. But back in 2007, he spoke with People about being a papa. “I love being a dad,” he said. “Yeah, it’s definitely amazing! It’s like everybody says, all the clichés are true-it’s indescribable and you just have to be there to understand it. You know, you don’t really get it until you’re there.”
