Minors Game Thread: Alvarez Starts Rehab, Tong Makes Season Debut
The minor league season is in full swing, with all four of the New York Mets’ full-season affiliates playing on Wednesday. Mets 2024 second-round pick Jonathan Santucci made his pro debut earlier on Wednesday for the Brooklyn Cyclones. Santucci struck out six over four innings of two-run ball in the Cyclones’ 7-2 loss. Boston Baro hit his first home run of the season.
