APD: 20-year-old, juvenile arrested in connection with Lakeline Mall shooting
AUSTIN (KXAN) -- A 20-year-old woman and a juvenile were both arrested in connection with a shooting that happened at the Lakeline Mall in January, according to the Austin Police Department.
The woman was identified as Yaneth Medina, per a news release from APD Wednesday. She was charged with tampering with evidence, which is a third degree felony.
Online court records did not show an attorney for Medina, as of Wednesday. We will update this if that changes.
The juvenile was arrested and booked into the Williamson County Juvenile Detention Facility. He was charged with aggravated assault and one county of deadly conduct, the release said.
The shooting happened Jan. 2 shortly before 4 p.m. and left one person injured, according to police.
No other details were released Wednesday.
