Akshay Bhatia's Girlfriend Captures Attention at the Masters
The first round of the 2025 Masters Tournament is underway from Augusta National where Akshay Bhatia is one of eight lefties making history this weekend.
The eight lefties playing in the Masters on Thursday, April 10 are a tournament record and Bhatia got the party started well. He birdied two of his first three holes to sit two-under for the tournament and within a few shots of the lead - until his round started to unravel.
His since gone on to bogey two holes over his next six to sit at even part fo the tournament and six shots back of the leader Justin Rose. As Bhatia continues to play well, fans have flocked to his social media channels to learn a bit more about him - and subsequently his fiancee, Presleigh Schultz.
After a few years together, Bhatia popped the question in September 2023. "Here's to forever," the couple said in an Instagram post afterwords.

Schultz, also 23, has built an impressive following on social media with over 37,000 followers on Instagram and nearly 95,000 on TikTok.
She hinted that her relationship with Bhatia started thanks to a direct message she sent the star golfer. "DM'd a random guy back in Instagram and now I don't have to have a job," she joked in a TikTok video.
So far this week she's taken advantage of her new surroudnings, posing for photos all over the course. "The only time you’ll catch me using a watch ⏱️????????????," she said in one of the captions.

"This and watching your husband play at Augusta????????????," she added in another, showing a photo of the couple at Augusta, with Bhatia on the course and Schultz outside the ropes.

Bhatia's most recent win came in a playoff over Denny McCarthy at the Valero Texas Open in April 2024.
