e.l.f.'s New Buttery-Smooth $9 Tinted Lip Balm Is the Perfect Alternative to Summer Fridays: 'So Yummy, So Much Product'

Truth be told, we’ve been major fans of e.l.f. since the early days with their NARS Orgasm/Laguna lookalike palette, and our love for the brand has only grown since. While they are famous for their affordable alternatives to high-end makeup and skincare, their products have such great quality, we’re sometimes shocked that they’re a drugstore brand. If you’re like us and have been waiting to see what kind of goodies the brand will deliver next, the wait is over! E.l.f. just dropped a brand new tinted lip balm and it’s already being called the perfect alternative to Summer Fridays.
Say hello to the e.l.f. Glow Reviver Melting Lip Balm! It’s described as a rich, yet “buttery light” scented lip balm that gives the lips a nice tint of buildable color. The balm contains ingredients such as shea butter, mango butter, cocoa butter, and a hyaluronic acid blend, to help keep lips nourished for hours on end. Not only that, the applicator features a lip-hugging tip for the smoothest application.
It’s currently available in six “flavors” and shades including Strawberry Shortcake (sound familiar, Rhode fans?), Yummy Gummy Plum (alternative to Laneige, perhaps?), and the light beige Vanilla Toffee, which is said to be a lookalike to Summer Fridays’ Iced Coffee.

E.l.f. knocked them both outta the park with this delicious dupe! So butter, so yummy, sooooooo much product! I wasn’t expecting the tube to be so generous in size, by far the biggest amount I’ve seen in the market. The flavors are divine, the color payoff is even better than Summer Fridays … and it’s only $9, you cannot go wrong.”
