Aimee Lou Wood Reveals What Sarah Sherman Sent Her After the Controversial SNL Sketch
Sarah Sherman has made a thoughtful gesture to Aimee Lou Wood after a controversial Saturday Night Live sketch.
The 31-year-old White Lotus star took to Instagram on Tuesday (April 15) to reveal that the 32-year-old comedian has apologized to her amid the backlash by sending her flowers.
“Thank you for the beautiful flowers,” Aimee wrote on a picture of an orange and pink bouquet, tagging Sarah‘s account.

If you didn’t know, Saturday Night Live recently aired a White Lotus parody sketch called “The White Potus.” In one moment, Sarah imitated Aimee‘s character Chelsea while wearing exaggerated prosthetic teeth and doing a Manchester accent.
The next day, Aimee called out SNL for mocking her in the sketch, which largely made fun of politics, but specifically took aim at her appearance. SNL has since reached out and apologized to her.
