5/7/2025: A few more showery days
The latest Storm Tracker Forecast from meteorologist Matt Mackie:
An area of low pressure moving in from the Great Lakes will bring us - you guessed it - another round of showers!
After a few breaks of sunshine this morning, we will cloud back up for the afternoon. It's not a washout, but there's always a chance for some light, spotty rain showers.
Tonight is mainly dry, with only one or two stray sprinkles. Temperatures look mild again, only down into the 50's for most.
After another day of clouds and light, isolated showers, some steadier rain will develop late in the day on Thursday. Highs look only slightly cooler, in the mid 60's.
That will lead to something of a a wash out on Friday - expect widespread, at times heavy rain and highs only in the low 50's. Thankfully though, we clear out for the weekend. Highs are back in the 60's on Saturday and then the low 70's for Mother's Day on Sunday.
Balmy and warm conditions are expected to kick off the following work week, with highs close to 80 on both days!
