College graduations across the Capital Region

ALBANY, (NEWS10) -- College students all over the Capital Region are preparing to walk across the stage to accept their degrees in May and June. From science or business studies to theater or pharmacy, students plan to gather with friends and family to celebrate their accomplishments.

Below is a list of upcoming college and university commencement ceremonies, dates, locations, and keynote speakers.

College commencements

• Siena College:
  • Date and location: May 18 at the MVP Arena
  • Time: Doors open at 8:30 a.m., and the procession line will begin at 9:45 a.m. for the 10 a.m. ceremony.
  • Keynote speaker: NBC “Today” show weather and news anchor Al Roker
• Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences:
  • Date and location: May 17 at Albany Capital Center
  • Time: 10 a.m.
  • Keynote speaker: Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan
• Russell Sage College:

• Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI):

  • Date and location: June 15 at Roger Hull Plaza, between Schaffer Library and the Nott Memorial
  • Time: 10 a.m.
  • Keynote speaker: Emmy-award winning journalist and alumnus Joanna Stern

  • Date and location: May 17 at the Entry Plaza Lawn
  • Time: 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• Skidmore College:
  • Date and location: May 17 at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center
