Hudson Falls contractor arrested on grand larceny charges
HUDSON FALLS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Hudson Falls Police announced on Wednesday the arrest of a Stillwater man after a theft investigation. Stephen Clark Jr., 42, was charged with two counts of fourth-degree grand larceny.
Clark is accused of accepting over $16,000 in payments to make renovations to a home in Hudson Falls in May 2024 that he reportedly never completed. He also allegedly used the victim's credit cards to make over $10,000 in purchases without the client's permission.
The ensuing investigation resulted in Clark turning himself in to police on an active arrest warrant on April 21. He was held at the Washington County Jail ahead of his arraignment.
