Jojo Siwa And Chris Hughes Speak Out Amid Fresh Speculation About Their Relationship
Jojo Siwa and Chris Hughes are addressing the latest speculation about their relationship.
The pair formed a strong friendship during their time in the Celebrity Big Brother house last month, which sparking speculation among viewers that there could be more going on between them.
Since leaving the house, Jojo has parted ways with her ex-partner Kath Ebbs, with the former Love Island star joining her in the US this past week, during which she also celebrated her birthday.
In the last few days, the two reality stars have been sharing cosy-looking pictures on Instagram, leading some to ponder if there could be a romantic element to their relationship.
One snap on Jojo’s profile sees her posing with Chris’ hand on her leg, while in a behind-the-scenes clip from Access Hollywood, she was also seen sitting on his lap.
Earlier this week, the pair made a joint appearance on Access Hollywood, where anchor Kit Hoover asked them to “define” their “connection”.
After the two stumbled over their words, the Karma singer responded: “You kind of can’t. It’s very special.”
“I’d struggle to describe it,” Chris agreed.
Later in the interview, Mario Lopez asked them what they made of “what people are saying online… and all the interest and stuff”.
“I think… let ’em! You know what I mean?” Jojo replied.
Chris then said: “I appreciate people in life who have opinions, I think it’s always good to have opinions in life, because it means you value something and take interest in something. But [the reaction has] been nice since we’ve left, it’s been very sweet, people have been very…”
After leaving the CBB house, Jojo maintained during an interview on This Morning that her friendship with Chris was purely “platonic”.
She later insisted that her friendship with Chris did not have “absolutely anything to do with” her decision to break up with her former partner Kath Ebbs.
“Chris and I are friends. We have a very, very great friendship,” she added.
