McDonald’s Announces New Limited-Time McFlurry Addition
McDonald's is getting ready to roll out a new sweet treat for customers in the United States.
Starting next Tuesday, June 10, McDonald's will serve a Hershey's S'mores McFlurry for a limited time. The Instagram account Snackolator first published news of the menu addition, which is similar to an item that was recently offered at McDonald's locations throughout Canada.
The Hershey's S'mores McFlurry will feature 'vanilla soft serve blended with Hershey's milk chocolate pieces, soft mini marshmallows, and graham crackers." While the date for its release is listed as June 10, some local McDonald's are releasing the dessert early.
For example, Soifer Family McDonald's, which operates 17 Golden Arches outposts in Northeast Iowa, says it will begin serving the new McFlurry starting this Thursday, June 5.
Overall, news of the sweet addition has been met with enthusiasm by McDonald's fans.
"I didn’t read it at first and was like great another one that’s NOT coming to the US but yay I’m excited now. ????," one person commented.
"Aight McDonalds if y’all love me just say that," a second person said.

McDonald's McFlurry announcement comes as the fast food chain also revealed it will be reviving the popular Snack Wrap beginning July 10.
"YOU commented under every post. YOU made petitions. YOU asked for it back in the DRIVE THRU!? YOU tweeted every day for 100 days straight. YOU rallied. you organized. and I saw it all. thanks to you, the Snack Wrap will be back," wrote the person who manages the McDonald's X/Twitter account.
Sounds like it will be a fun few weeks for Mickey D's patrons throughout the United States.
