Reports over recent days indicate that Tottenham will do everything in their power to convince Romero to stay and sign a new contract.

A report by TBR Football has now claimed Tottenham have been very happy with Kevin Danso since he arrived from Lens in January and are not ruling out the possibility of the 26-year-old being a regular starter next season.
The outlet says that the Austrian international is now settled at the club and given the attributes he possesses, some at Spurs believe that he is the ideal ‘readymade Romero replacement’.
However, that does not mean that Tottenham will not add a centre-back to their squad if they lose the Argentine this summer.
TBR Football backs up what we have heard from some other sources over the last week by claiming that Spurs could push ahead with a move for Fikayo Tomori, who has been deemed surplus to requirements at AC Milan.

Danso has been solid whenever he has got an opportunity, but given how injury-prone Tottenham’s defenders are, the club will need to sign another top-class centre-back this summer if they lose Romero.
We know that Tottenham are big admirers of Marc Guehi, but it has emerged in recent days that the Crystal Palace man is not keen on a switch to N17.
It was claimed by The Times a couple of days ago that Spurs could turn their attention to Jarrad Branthwaite after being snubbed by Guehi.
