Schenectady man charged with rape, incest
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Schenectady man has been arrested for alleged rape and incest, according to New York State Police. Brian Regels, 25, faces multiple felony charges.
State troopers received a report of a rape on May 26 at about 12:52 p.m. The following investigation found that, on May 23, Regels allegedly had unwanted sexual intercourse with two victims while at a home in Princetown.
Authorities reportedly arrested Regels on May 26. He has been charged with third-degree incest and two counts of first-degree rape, both felonies.
After processing at the State Police barracks in Princetown, the 25-year-old was taken to Schenectady County Correctional Facility, where he currently awaits arraignment, authorities said.
