Texas Rangers 'actively investigating missing person case' in northeast Travis County

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The Texas Department of Public Safety confirmed to KXAN the Texas Rangers are "actively investigating a missing person case" in northeast Travis County on Wednesday.
DPS said the Texas Rangers responded to Cameron Road and Blue Goose Road "in coordination with the Austin Police Department" connected with the investigation.
A heavy presence of Texas Department of Public Safety troopers were seen in the area by a KXAN photojournalist and will update this article as we receive more information.
"This is an ongoing investigation. No further details are available for release at this time," DPS said in its statement.
