Delta Just Opened Its Most Luxurious Lounge Yet—With Omakase and Fresh Crab
The Delta One experience just got more luxe for thousands of customers flying out of one particular airport. If you’re lucky enough to snag a Delta One ticket in or out of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (or are a Delta 360° member), you’ll now have access to an exclusive lounge.
Late last month, the much-anticipated Delta One Lounge at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport officially opened its doors. And if you're a lover of fine dining and equally impressive drinks then you should probably book your Delta One ticket ASAP because the lounge's food and drink offerings are truly next level.
The elevated dining experience starts the second you step foot into the concierge-style lounge. According to Food & Wine, you have the option of ordering from a three-course omakase-style menu that features an assortment of eclectic dishes made using locally sourced ingredients.

Among the dishes you'll find on the omakase-style menu are yellowtail crudo, Dungeness crab cannelloni dressed in a spicy tomato fondue, wood-fired teriyaki steelhead and housemade ramen.
And don't think they forgot about the most important meal of the day. Breakfast in the Delta One Lounge features fresh scones and blueberry muffins, Dungeness crab benedict and Dutch baby pancakes with Rainier cherry compote.
With both its Sky Clubs and Delta One Lounges, the airline hopes that they'll help welcome in even more customers.
"Our vision is to make the Sky Club a reason to fly Delta or Delta One. The level of hospitality that you find in the lounges is super important to us because that's what we strive to achieve,” Claude Rousse, Delta Air Lines VP of Sky Clubs and Lounge Experience, shared in a statement to Food & Wine.
Well, we're certainly ready to take flight.
