Costco Shoppers Are Saying This Electric Wok Is an Instant Buy
A must-have item has just arrived at Costco—and no, it's not the bakery's latest sweet treat. This time around, the product from the warehouse that's receiving rave reviews is a nifty kitchen tool.
On Reddit last week, a user uploaded a post asking if anyone had ever used the NuWave Hot Wok and if the electric wok was any good. "I’ve long had dreams of cooking a proper stir fry. Has anyone tried this and is it worth it?" they asked.
Their question was met with dozens of messages from users who've had the chance to use the wok.
"I bought it and it works great. I’ve used it with another wok with no problems," one person wrote.
"I have one and it works quite well. I ended up not using it that much though," another user chimed in.

A few Redditors pointed out that you should be careful with both your outlet and the glass featured on the kitchen tool.
"Purchased this last year! It's really great and I love cooking with it! Note of caution, if your kitchen's plug is only 15A on the breaker be sure to not select the 1500w option. Technically, all calculations say you're good but I have found that it trips the breaker especially when other appliances are plugged in," read one comment.
"I bought one of these last month and the glass exploded after the first use. Heard a huge pop while we were eating in the other room and came back to glass everywhere. Most likely ours had an imperfection in the glass but won’t be taking my chances on another one," someone else shared.
