Charlie Sheen’s Ex-Wife Denise Richards Set for Another Divorce
Denise Richards is headed to divorce court for a second time. The Wild Things star’s second husband, Aaron Phypers, has filed for divorce in Los Angeles, TMZ reported on July 7. Phypers, an actor and former healing center owner, listed the date of separation as July 4 and cited “irreconcilable differences.” He is seeking spousal support from Richards.
Us Weekly reported that in the court filing, Phypers also requested the return of his power tools. He listed Richards’ alleged monthly income as $250,000 and claimed that he made no money of his own over the past 12 months after closing down his business.
The couple wed in 2018, and their wedding was featured on Richards’ former reality show, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Phypers reportedly adopted Richards’ daughter, Eloise, 14, after they married, per Bravo.com. But according to Us, he listed Eloise as his stepchild in the divorce documents.
Richards, 54, was previously married to actor Charlie Sheen and shares two daughters, Sami, 21, and Lola, 20, with him. The celebrity couple divorced in 2006 after four years of marriage. While things were nasty for a time, the exes came together to co-parent their daughters. Sheen even made a cameo on Richards’ family reality show, Denise Richards and Her Wild Things, earlier this year.
During a March 2025 interview on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, Richards said she tries to keep things “in a good place” with Sheen when it comes to parenting their daughters. “He has his way. I have my way,” she said. “But you know, I always try to keep things in a good place with him and for me, I'd rather keep things peaceful.”
Sheen was also married to Brooke Mueller from 2008 to 2011 and has twin sons, Max and Bob, with her.
