So naturally, when sales like Amazon's Prime Day roll around, we make sure to track all the deals on which models we've tried (and those that are in our testing pipeline). With Amazon's sale officially live, the headphones deals are showing out strong.

So far, if you're looking for over-ear headphones, you'll have your pick of $100-plus discounts from Apple and Sony. The new Sony XM6 headphones were just released on May 15, but they're already on sale for around $20 off, putting them at $428 at Amazon. Now, I'll be the first to admit that a $20 price drop doesn't exactly put these flagship cans in the bargain price range.
