Man Utd poised for £7.6m windfall as Spanish star prepares to join UCL club
Manchester United have made a couple of signings during the ongoing transfer window.

The Red Devils are working hard to secure more targets, but part of the spending spree could depend on incoming funds.
United are guaranteed to receive at least £7.4 million from Anthony Elanga’s £52m transfer to Newcastle United from Nottingham Forest due to a 20 percent sell-on clause agreed (on profit).
The club are poised for a similar boost from Alvaro Carreras’ move from Benfica to Real Madrid. Los Blancos have agreed to pay £42m to the Portuguese outfit through instalments.
The Red Devils have a buy-back clause worth £17m for the left-back, but United are more likely to permit his transfer, considering they have sufficient depth in the defensive position.
In that case, United will secure 20 percent of the profit from the deal. The 22-year-old was sold to Benfica for £5m last year. The club will therefore earn £7.6m if the transfer goes through.
Ruben Amorim’s side are set for another windfall from a sell-on clause. There could be a further boost in the coming days with Maxi Oyedele on the cusp of joining Strasbourg from Legia Warsaw.
United are unlikely to receive the entire funds upfront due to the long-term payment terms, but a small part of the £15m fee could boost their prospects of landing Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo.
The club have made two bids for the Cameroonian winger with the latest being £62.5m. The Bees are eyeing a higher package and hopefully, a deal can be sorted before the pre-season tour.
