'Oh they're hiding something':  Podcasters who voted for Trump say this was 'last straw'

Popular podcasters Andrew Schulz and Akaash Singh, who openly supported President Donald Trump during last year’s presidential election, are now criticizing him for refusing to release the Epstein files.

In an episode of their podcast Flagrant released Thursday, Schulz and Singh leveled scathing remarks at Trump, citing frustration with his handling of the controversy surrounding convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Schulz exclaimed: “The fact that Trump will not touch the Epstein case, and then last week, doing the bulls---distractions?” Singh added: “The Epstein thing, for me, was the last straw in terms of Trump not getting things done. The more they're doing to hide it, the more I'm like, ‘oh, they're hiding something crazy’.”

Schulz then referenced Trump's recent declarations about former President Barack Obama, and argued that Trump was simply trying to distract the media while "protecting" pedophiles.

Their rebuke comes amid a broader backlash within Trump’s MAGA base following his administration’s failure to deliver on earlier promises to release Epstein-related documents.

Despite earlier commitments to publish files, including alleged names of clients or conspirators, Trump’s Justice Department and FBI have declared that no credible evidence of a “client list” exists, and that no further documents will be released.

Several of Trump’s staunchest supporters have publicly criticized his approach to the Epstein files, amplifying demands for their release.

This week, a House subcommittee voted to subpoena the Department of Justice for those documents.

Although MAGA commentators are pushing for greater openness, a significant number continue to stand by the president.
