‘90s TV Star Reveals She Secretly Dated This ‘NSync Singer

Clueless star Elisa Donovan was not a fan of 'NSync before she secretly started dating one of the boy band members. 

"They did an episode of Clueless,” Donovan, 54, told Danielle Fishel on her "Pod Meets World" podcast. “The studio said ‘This is a really big deal. These guys are coming out.' And I was just like, ‘Right. Are you kidding me? These little boys? This, like, boy band?' I was literally making fun of them before they got to set."

Donovan -- who played Amber in the Alicia Silverstone led film before starring in the TV series -- recalled meeting the boys on set and claimed they were "super professional."

"They're really kind. Incredibly talented. And I was like, ‘Oh, I'm the jerk,'" she said, before adding that she and Joey Fatone "stated dating."

"That was under the radar," Donovan revealed. “I remember going to the show at the Staples Center or something in LA, like one of the big venues. I get out of the car, and I am swarmed as if I am one of the Beatles, you know? And they were just like, ‘She's going in to see them!'"

Donovan went on to appear in shows like Sabrina, the Teenage Witch and Sonny With a Chance. She married husband Charlie Bigelow in October 2012 after meeting during a vacation in Sayulita, Mexico, three years prior. 

After 'NSync, Fatone, 48, transitioned into acting with roles in films like My Big Fat Greek Wedding. He also starred in Broadway productions, guest starred in shows like Hannah Montana and hosted shows such as Celebrity Circus.

He went on to marry his on-again, off-again high school sweetheart, Kelly Baldwin, in September 2004. The couple share two daughters, Briahna Joely, born in March 2001, and Kloey, born in January 2010.
