Mary Bonnet Defends Emma Hernan Amid Feud with Chrishell Stause Over 'Selling Sunset' Season 9 Drama
Mary Bonnet is addressing Emma Hernan and Chrishell Stause‘s feud.
During season nine of Selling Sunset, fans watched as Emma and Chrishell had a major falling out over Emma‘s new boyfriend Blake Davis.
In a new interview, Mary defended Emma and said that she thinks Chrishell was unfair about Blake.
Keep reading to find out more…“In my opinion, I think as a friend if you have somebody going through something like that you need to be there for them and be the safe space,” Mary told Us Weekly. “You don’t desert a friend in their time of need and you definitely don’t try to humiliate them by going public and telling all their secrets.”
Mary said that Chrishell should have pulled Emma aside to voice her concerns.
“That [public reaction] was uncalled for and very cruel,” Mary said. “I asked her why because I don’t get it. I’ve always loved Chrishell and I just don’t understand the reasoning for that. But people do things for different reasons.”
She then showed her support for Emma, saying, “She’s a total sweetheart and who hasn’t been in a toxic relationship and chosen a bad guy and stayed there longer than they should?”
“In hindsight, I knew it was dumb [when I was in a similar situation],” Mary continued. “You just get swept up. But you need people to be there for you and to be strong for you and to show you your worth and not tear you down even more.”
Chrishell recently addressed her falling out with Emma in a new interview and shared her thoughts on rekindling their friendship.
